New Manuscript of Luke Uploaded to CSNTM

We just uploaded a new manuscript to the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts site. It is a 10th-12th century minuscule manuscript of Luke, and you can view the images of this manuscript here.

If you have any experience with reading minuscule writing, you will find the script to be pretty clear. It is not very large; the digital images are much easier to read than the real thing. This is the only biblical manuscript I have ever handled before. Dan blessed the TC class at DTS last Fall (which I audited) by bringing it in and letting us look at it.

If you look in the manuscript directory you will find a longer description of the manuscript as well as a complete collation.

Eric,

Love the look and content of this site too. Thanks for stopping by Pisteuomen and commenting. I posted a comment on your other site too, sounds like we have a bit in common. Good stuff, glad you found my blog and glad I was able to find yours. I’m going to bookmark and add this site to my page reader too.
