Getting Ready for My First Greek NT Manuscript Photography Expedition

My first Greek New Testament manuscript photography expedition begins tomorrow. The trip will last from the 11th to the 28th, 17 days of awesomeness. The entire expedition will take place in Greece though all of the places we will go is still an unknown. I am going with the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts, about which many who read this blog are already familiar.

This is the first post in a series about this trip. I will try to post every day about the goings on of the trip, but that will be dependent on our internet connectivity. I would also be surprised if I can everything though I will share as much as I can. And, of course, you will get pictures of at least Greece, though probably not the manuscripts. Before manuscripts can be posted, permission has to be granted by the keepers of the manuscripts, though CSNTM will post what it can.

Shortly after I get back I’ll be doing a presentation on the trip at my Church in the afternoon. If you are interested, pay attention here. I will post the timing of that when I know it.

Time to go finish up my pre-expedition tasks!
